As you know by now, The Ace of Hearts has gone....what are the odds the Ace would go down to the last card!!!! A big congrats to Glenn and Joan Penny who took home over $19,500 !!!What a great Christmas present!! See their happy faces on our curling website!
There will be no Chase the Ace for a while but Friday nights may see the Club open for TGIF evenings and for Two-man curling or practicing shots. A call (902-825-3225) or drive- by will show if the Club is open.
Our next exciting event is the Christmas Fete on Sat. Dec. 8, with all-day ticket auction/ bake table (8:30 am- 7:00 pm) and the Curling Funspiel. There will be lots of red and green around that day and a few ugly Christmas sweaters, no doubt. See the Poster on the Middleton Curling Club website and at the Club.
Sat. Dec. 15 sees the Big Breakfast from 8:00 am -10:30 pm. This the last one for this year....but not for the curling season. Enjoy bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, baked beans, toast, juice, tea and coffee. It will be nice to have a hot breakfast on a cold day among friendly folks!
Stay safe on wintry roads,
